Article descriptionThe Einhell PXC+ 18 V 5–8 Ah MULTI battery is part of Einhell’s multifunctional and endlessly combinable Power X-Change battery platform. The universally usable PXC batteries supply all cordless tools in the entire garden and workshop system with sufficient power. Thanks to MULTI-Ah technology, the battery can be operated either in 8 Ah mode for longer runtime or in 5 Ah mode to support an extended overall service life. The Einhell PLUS technology uses type 21700 lithium-ion cells which, compared to the 18650-type cells installed in the PXC basic batteries, deliver the same performance and runtime with fewer cells. The result: more compact, lighter batteries for efficient work. In addition, the high-quality battery resists memory effect and the typical self-discharge of batteries, ensuring constant power. The PXC+ 18 V 5–8 Ah MULTI battery can also be used in a twin pack. The innovative Twin-Pack technology allows Power X-Change PXC batteries to be exchanged with each other and combined for 36 V applications. The process-controlled, active ABS battery management system continuously monitors the battery parameters using a microprocessor, ensuring maximum safety, optimal tool performance, maximum runtime and service life. The exact current charge level in % can be checked via the digital display. The housing is resistant to dust, corrosion and mechanical impact. The rubber coating provides high impact protection and a secure grip, while the recessed handle allows easy removal from all tools.
